Our Story
1974: RM&F Communications, Birmingham
Our guiding principles can be traced back to this very simple set of directives:
"Our firm will approach each project with two basic considerations: One, the desire for measurable response from each project. Two, the relationship of the particular project to a client's total communications program. We will regard these two considerations as inseparable."
Those words were in written in a promotional brochure for RM&F Communications, a pioneering force in the world of corporate graphics, communications, and marketing ideas. Co-founded by the late Roger D. Meadows and Robert C. Fowler, RM&F emphasized the importance of a company's image as a tangible asset.
"Your corporation's image should be valuable in terms of real dollars. It should be unique to your company alone and should become an equity factor in your net worth."
1999: The Birth of SEME Resources, Inc.
In 1999, building on the rich legacy of RM&F Communications, Robert Fowler established SEME Resources Inc., marking a pivotal transition and a new chapter in specialized marketing services.
Fowler's vision for SEME was to harness his extensive experience and insights gained from RM&F to create a firm that specifically catered to the nuanced needs of the construction materials industry.
This strategic shift was driven by a recognition of the unique challenges and opportunities within this sector. SEME, under Fowler's leadership, began to focus on providing in-depth marketing solutions tailored to businesses dealing in cement, concrete, aggregates, and related products. This evolution signified not only a continuation of Fowler's commitment to excellence in communications and marketing but also an adaptation to meet the specific demands of an industry poised for growth and innovation.
